ABOUT ME:
Thank you for visiting my website! As Counselor at Mountain Park Elementary I am inspired. Growing up in Mobile, Alabama as a proud fourth generation educator, my mission was set in motion to reach students with a positive message by providing essential tools to meet daily challenges. I currently live in the downtown area of Decatur with my cocker spaniel-Chase, who loves to run!

I achieved a B.S. in Elementary Education from Alabama State University, a Master's in School & Community Counseling from Mercer University and completed 3 years of Supervision for Licensure as a Professional Counselor. I also achieved a Leadership Certification from The University of Georgia with Fulton County Schools. Finally, achieving a Specialist and Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from Argosy University.

My career with Fulton County Schools began in 1999, at Esther Jackson Elementary School as a fourth grade teacher. I also taught second grade and was the second grade chairperson at State Bridge Crossing. I joined the amazing Mt. Park faculty and staff as School Counselor in 2004. I find my current position rewarding and the interaction that I experience with students by witnessing their growth is indescribable!

Please feel free to contact me if you have any suggestions or concerns. I enjoy working collaboratively with the Mountain Park Elementary community.
